Amazingly, this is the first day i don't feel like sleeping in when i actually can take as much time as i like to sleep. i woke up at about six after the alarm o'clock of someboby else's and then i just lay in bed wide awake for about an hour. i tried to regain some sleep for the percious morning i seldom have had (generally i am supposed to get up at 5:45 if i want to leave some time for breakfast) but i just could not make it. though i pulled three layers of curtains last night, morning sunlight still penetrate into my dorm, bright enough to keep me awake. you have no idea how i am anxious for a nice long lie-in on Sundays. well, when god shows mercy  to me, i just do wanna take it. it is sarcastic, right?

i should try to figure out a right thing to do on such a lovely day, watching a good movie, going for an outing or just going to my grandparents'. anyways, first and foremost, i should switch off the computer and have a nice shower.

what i was arranged to do today might be most of a nuisance ever. The given assignment was a bit invidious, which means it is likely to cause resentment or unpopularity because of the strictness. i did not want to undertake this duty, but seemingly i had no choice to avoid it, according to one of the so-called reasons for lack of enough people to help do the job and another one is that i am young and i should be devoted to the glory career i am taking up.

i should have been on a trip right now but i chose to stay in Tiantai on this weekend because i am tired and i had planned to have myself examined in hospital. most people go to see a doctor during the weekdays while i have to take the weekends. i hate asking for leave when i am supposed to work. it is quite troublesome. you have to report to a kind of supeior who is nosy and bossy. like a meat on a chopping board, you stand in front of that superior, waiting for his permission after an interrogation.

i hate bureaucracy but i live in a world of bureaucrats. there is no way i can get out of it so i just have to tolerate and modulate.

kinda had a bad day and now here i am, right stuck in the dorm. i am really too tired to go home. such a long day work made me exhausted.

anyway, life keeps going on no matter what happens. i had a bad day not only because i was asked to do some invidious job but also because, for the first time, i was left behind by my sister and her friend. yep, two's company while three's a crowd. i totally understand they just want to be with each other but i am not used to it. my sister is nearly the only peoson i am going out for everything in Tiantai. i would never mind calling myself as a lonely ghost, but i don't feel lonely at all when i am busy. when weekends come, i can feel a bit isolated. I usually leave tiantai for another place when i don't have to work on sunday though the chance is not so high, only happening every two weeks.

just got a message from sister telling me where the straw is 'cause she bought me a coconut, a honeydew melon, two pineapples and six apples before she left and she is probably thinking right now i could not find the straw to have the coconut milk. she is considerate by all means and good to me. without that friend of hers, i would not be mad at her.

went to my grandparents' today, which is always an ideal place to rest and enjoy comfort and happiness, and now is also a place you can have a best time with four kids.

Among six unanswered phones five are from my sister, so i rang her back explaining the reason for missing the phones. i hate to say i have a bad memory but i do always forget things. i didn't have no idea that i had left the phone in the dorm until i was at the bus station getting ready on board. since it is such a long way to go back to get the phone, i would rather just leave it where it was. going out without taking phones means one can not be retraced, which is always i am more than willing to do : )

Watched The Shawshank Redemption just now, kinda touched by the words by Red:...first you hate them，then you get used to them, long time passes, you get so you depend on them. That is instititutionalized.I hate to say i kinda have been institutionalized by the F place where i work, but I have been so accustomed to it and the related routines that i even dare not just try picturing a slightly different way of life.What a pathetic life i am leading right now.
