under the circimstances like today, i find it necessary to buy a four-wheeled thing, which by all means can protect you from the rain or sun. lots of people around me of my age have got a driving licence, they have had a car or will have a car in a few days. me, a lzay stick, never thought i would enter myself for the driving-test until one day my mother mentioned i should. my mother can never be a up-to-date person with fashinable thoughts, so it is amazing to get such an idea from her. my answer was always negative when my sister and some other friends advised me to take the exam. since my mother put her idea into my mind, i will take her advice. hopefully i can finish successfully what i am doing in this half year so that i will be in that mood to take the driving test. i think i am kinda mechenically talented, so i won't have any difficulty passing the exam.

Holy C ! it is still raining. i thought it was the time for the Rain Mother to have a rest, letting me go back home and rest too. i switched off the computer and took the elevator to the ground floor, only to find it is more than spitting, under which condition there is no way that i could walk. walking in the rain is romantic not today when i have already had a cold. what is more, i wear a pair of white sneakers which was just washed the day before. i am a lazy guy, you know. so i had to go back to my office. finding nothing else can be interesting enough to spare my attention, i decided to turn on the computer once again. that is why i am here now, not because my life is too boring to have any other fun except surfing the Internet, but because i am stuck in the B****y F place.

i usually get to start my work 5 or 10 minutes earlier if nothing special happens. before i get down to business, i would like to get a Pepsi or a bottle of boiled water for my sore throat. then i focus all my attention on my work until it is finished. if i get restless or listless, i would partake of some refreshments to entertain myself. chocalate is always a good choice to me because i have a sweet tooth. i take preserved plum or sultana ( small seedless raisin ) or processed haw occasionally, depending on what kind of mood i m in at the right time. but if i have a stomach disorder, definitely i will give the priority over processed haw, because i was told haw does good to digestion.

It is 175 now. work having finished, i can start scribbling again :) so i choose to finish what has been started in the morning.

yeah, i do like to take time to do everything in my eyes worth my time or effort. life is simple. washing face, doing facial, or even having meals is a pleasure to me. that is the main reason why i usually get up earlier than people around me with the same job. i take great pleasure in doing some preparatin work for the job, spending 5 mins brushing teeth and cleaning face, another 5 mins applying facial cream and foundation as well as eye cream. once in a while i would spread eye-shadow and apply the mascara thickly to conceal swollen eyes, which will take me 5 more mins. a good make-up will make me more confident. after all these whitewashes, i will go to have a nutritious breakfast, which in most cases takes me about 20 mins. having an apple is a must since apple is such a miracle-worker. an apple a day, keeps the doctor away. time permitting and water availble i would make a coffee because it makes me look at least seemingly energetic. the coffee i have is mostly instant coffee, for it is easy to get and has suggar in it. i don't like black coffee, life itself is so bitter, why should i make my life bitter deliberately by having black coffee? nonsense. i don't wanna suffer from that. i cann't understand why so many people enjoy black but it is ok. people are different. well, i would like to have steamed buns as my main food source for the breafast. fried pancakes are yummy but oily, so are fried twisted noodles, so i seldom have them for breakfast for health sake. these days i especially like having an apple over going to the place where i work, which exactly takes the time of walking from my living place to the dustbin about 50 meters away from the side gate of my work place.

But being a beginner of the Internet surfing, i had no idea how to carry out the tools on the Internet. i am still learning how to make use of the Internet. but fortunately, at least, i have got to know how to open a totally new field to work in. i don't have to use some others' space to scribble any more:) so if there happens to be some surfers online happening to spot my FIELD, would you be kind enough to congatule on me getting my own "ROOM" ?

kinda dizzy today, cannot carry on the work normally. not taking forty winks at noon as usual resulted in low efficiency when works came, which made me have to work overtime. besides, i have to continue the job since leaders in the organization where i work make me and other co-workers willingly sacrifice ourselves to the glorious career we are working on. so i got an unbelievably bigger-than-huge day. i was dead tired when i finally got the permission to leave and my mind went blank the minute i put down what i was doing. what should i do to get myself out of exhaustion? i found myself walking towards a grocery so why not get some sunflower seeds? it has been a long time since i cracked the sunflower seeds. i have been a melon seeds lover in the past years. for a change of taste? when i paid the money to the dealer i remembered i had only two apples left in the dorm. so i decided to buy some fruit. to me fruit store is a place where you can find pleasure. so i went there, choosing six apples and three pears and some jackfruit, which is as smelly as fermented bean curd. heh, i seldom touched jackfruit before even though it is called the fruit of all fruits or king of all fruits because of its unpleasant smell. i would like to try it again for its rich nutrition. i need a nutritious bite when i went back dorm for the bigger-than-huge day. i would like to buy some dates too but when i was there a couple stood before the frige picking, what is more, dates were not charming enough to attract me. judging from the color and the shape, i could tell they were not fresh. so i decided to buy some some other time. it was about 10:10 when i got back home. two tens are lucy numbers in my eyes as well as three and six. my lucky numbers have their own stories. i like them. anywy, home is the place you can have relaxation, comfort and fun. throwing my handbags and fruit on the ground, i slumped down onto the sofa. eventually i can have a sound rest. i was about to enjoy some snacks i bought minutes ago when i realized i will have to get up an hour earlier than usual. after unpacking the seedbag, having two handfuls of seeds, swallowing fermented bean curd like thing and a pear, i know it was late. so i quicken my steps finishing all the rest of things. time for sleep. i was supposed to get up at 5:30 but i could manage to . too sleepy. so i slept for another 10 mins. do everything in the same manner as last night, i hurried to the work place. lycky, i was not late. but now i am sleepy. i did do not have a sound sleep.

Had some dates just now, which are absolutely too sweet and sticky. compared with raw dates, it never can be my choice. but i was hungry but had nothing except a pack of sweetened dates in the drawer of my office desk, of which i had no least idea when i got but it did lie in the drawer. beggars can't be choosers. so i took a few dates even though i know they would make my tommy uncomfortable in few minutes. i just wanted to have sth to eat right now, not actually i am hungry. having a bite after i finish a heavy job is always a good means to relax, so i often prepare kinda refreshments for myself. kept busy these days by lots of worldly concerns or trifles, i have no suitable time going to the supermarkets for the deary snacks. since today is not a good day for shopping because of the rain, i might go to my favorite market tomorrow afternoon, getting some crackers, potato chips, choclate, condensed milk, instant noodles, instant coffee, brown sugar, almond, pistachio, sultana, melon seeds, bananas and apples. pity me, nothing else is available but two apples in the dorm. money has burnt a hole in my pocket since i begin to attend work. hey, how much money is owned can be said enough?

Sucks ! trapped in the rain again. If only i had a boyfriend being with me who can pick me up from the job in the circumstances. it is also ok if there is a friend male or female who can willingly offer his help getting me out of this office and sending me to the dorm. how irritating it is to see people i work with go back home happily while me alone have to wait until the rain stops. i don't think i have a friend right here in the work unit i can turn to for help. they might be stuck as me in the rain, waiting for me to help them. well, i will buy a Honda the second i pass the driving test.

Being such a talker, i can talk the hind legs off a donkey, but now i am in a quandary about what to put down. why not begin by babbling on food? one voice reminds me. talking about food is always a safe subject because it is the first necessity of man among the four essentials of people's life and is the decision-maker of people's moods. having been a bit hungry before i was off work yesterday afternoon, i decided to have some dim sums ahead of dinner. i am by no means a foodie but i like tasty food. walking towards my dorm, i found many people crowding around a street vendor selling a kind of special pancakes with filling made of dried pickles and diced fat meat. it is my poison but some other people's meat, for which i can tell from so many people being crazy about it. i bought a steamed bun and a steamed dumpling from another street pedlar instead. it was the first time i had had these kinds of dim sums from the street stands, not knowing whether the food is good or not or the pedlars are licensed or whatever. luck went against me. i wanted a bun with the filling made of bokchoi and mushrooms but the seller gave me the one stuffed with pickles and diced lean meat. i bit into the steamed dumpling, only to find a sand besides the wrapper, sticky rice and diced meat, which is irritating and disappointing. to save time, energy and money, and keep a merry heart as well, i have decided never to venture on the food from the street pedlars no matter how inviting they will be. i have been totally disapponted because of the unpleasant experience.

Another interesting intermezzo happened before i went to dinner. i was about to leave for an eatey when one of my friends called, saying that she spotted some wires from a scourer in the noodles she was having at the place where we often go for something to eat. it turned down my idea of going there. being alone, where to get food is always a problem to me. finally i went to a small restaurant where only dumplings are available. there are three different kinds of dumplings and two ways to cook them. my favorite type is to fry the one shaped like boats, with frills on all sides, stuffed with diced carrat, radish, wild rice stem, string beans, and lean meat. what makes it very special is that the wrapper is as thin as a sheet and the chef will beat an egg mixing it up the fried dumpings. they are one of he most dilicious food i have ever had.

Not having been here for some days, I have got a kinds sense of guilty. I feel responsible to put down what I have experienced in the past few days since my topic is so-called "that is life" by which means the babble on my daily life.

Different from my friends around me, Friday is the busiest day on which I have twice the amount of the usual workload. Last Friday can not be a lucky one, so I got the heaviest work of the week. Besides, a meeting was to be held on that night, which made my past Friday even busier. Nothing worth mentioning happened except that I had a lousy day because of a cold. I had had a dry and sore throat the day before and I did go to see a doctor getting some golden throat lozenges and some herbal tea because I have clearly known that the sore throat is the first symptom of having a cold. I thought the doctor is a quack, because she seemed to know nothing about the cold and gave me some medicine casually, without any examining. What was worse was that the cold I got this time came unbelievably ferociously. The medicine given on Thursday night did not work on me so once again I entered the infirmary on Friday morning asking for some Kuai Ke, a cold medicine which as far as I know is the most effective cure for colds for me, and some anti-inflammation pills.

I was anxious to recover from the cold so I took one pill of cold medicine before going for siesta, two more before I went to bed on Friday night, one again on Saturday morning before going to work and one more after lunch. I was dazed with sleep totally for a whole day, from the midday of Friday to that of Saturday, because of the heavy medical intake. Work and sufferings form the cold occupied all my attention on Friday. I didn’t have to work on Saturday morning so I slept in, not getting up until an alarm clock struck eight. After finishing all the washings and cleanings and breakfast as well as medicine, I meant to read some prose. But I felt sleepy the moment I touched the book. So I went back to date with Duke of Zhou again. It was a sound sleep. I started to realize things when the alarm clock went off 13:30, reminding me that I had to get up and went to work, which was divided into two parts and lasted about two hours, including the time spent on the way from my dorm to the workplace, back and forth. Everything went smoothly for the first part of the work, however, I suddenly lost my sight for a few seconds nearly at the end of the latter part of the work, then I just could not see anything clear. I wanted to stop what I was doing but had to carry on on the account that I was being observed by one superior guy at that moment. Poor me was awkward as awkwardness itself could be.

Later on, I went to see the doctor for the third time and I was told that it might be the high fever that made my eyes blurred and I had to be put on a drip. Luckily, my sister happening to come to Tiantai kept me company when I was on the drip, greatly lessening my loneliness and unhappiness. Then we went to a restaurant featuring Sichuan cuisine, having four a la carte dishes, one of which is water spinach with a little bit of smashed garlic, another is cuttlefish boiled in spicy water, one more is preserved duck egg mixed with green peppers and the last one is braised eggplant, a soup with cucumber and vermicelli made from bean starch, and two herbal tea. After that, we walked to a supermarket right next to the restaurant, buying some crackers, potato chips, jellies, chocolates, bugles, ball cakes, skittles, chrysanthemum tea, honeysuckle tea, preserved plum, dried fish bone and coffee. Having enjoyed such a happy time, we went back home. It was not yet too late but I went to sleep earlier than usual for the cold sake. Before falling asleep I made a deal with my sister of going to a tangerine orchard early in the next morning. Unfortunately I could not manage to for the reason that I didn’t feel like getting up early and my sister would go back to her working place at 9:40. I fell to be a total idler again the second I saw my sister off.

Intended to do nothing but idled away the rest of the good day, I planned to go shopping. I am by no means a shopping maniac, but I did buy a pair of blue jeans, ranking the ninth in the clothing I bought in the recent twenty days. I must have been out of my mind. I went to have lunch with one of my friend at an eatery advertising itself as the 118th chain store of Auntie’ Dumplings but found the dumplings I got were soiled with soot. I had nothing on cleanliness and health grounds. I had lots of snacks in the dorm, which greatly satisfy my appetite. I had a kiwi fruit, two crabapples, and some crackers. Two handfuls of sunflower seeds added in a few minutes after the previous nibbles in the name of lunch is a result of my hoarse voice deep into the afternoon. But strangely at that moment I didn’t have the least impression that I should not touch any kind of food of a hot or warm nature according to the traditional Chinese medical science. Like a piggy, I went to bed and closed my eyes again after having had my fill. I meant to have forty winks but more than eighty instead. When my friend called to dinner I was still lying, enjoying nothing. We went for three a la carte dishes, namely, sheet jelly cooked with a bit of mince, kidney beans stir-fried whit a little bit smashed garlic, lettuce mixed up with egg dumplings the wrapper of which is made of egg and the filling is from mince and chives, and a soup with egg and pieces of tomatoes. We filled ourselves as soon as possible for she was supposed to go back before 18:00.

Dinner ‘s being over means a day’s over as well as the weekend is over. So I returned home, did some preparation work for the following weekdays and went to bed earlier because I would be an early bird again on Monday morning.

Monday morning was abnormally busy for I had delayed some work the week before due to the unwelcome cold.
