About English Corner---first time!

hi,  all, wish everything of you is ok.

I have a suggestion that we meet this saturday evening at the book bar as we mentioned last time,  what do you say?

We have talked about this matter for a long time.  But easier said than done,  we have never taken this into action. It is always difficult to start doing some thing.

I hope all of you can join in and make it a regular party we will have in the future.

i think it is conflict with ball masque organized by"general mobilization of the vacation"
and many english lovers have planned to join in that ball
sure,if i go home ,i will prefer to join this english corner to join in that ball
at last,hope u can organize several friends get together and wish u get a satifactory success and make it a regular party in the future

Why don't we makt it in the near future of Spring Festival,when,I think,most of us are free from our work or studying,such as me : )
I will return to Tiantai on 8th January when I finish the final exam.

How about Jan. 10, 2004?

I guess most of the university students like david.zh already come back to tiantai at that time.  And it is Saturday, people like me and  得便宜唱首歌 will be free.

What do you say?  Any suggestion?

maybe it is a good choice to take an english corner on jan.10-----
then,,,let us be prepare for the english corner ,ok?
i am still not in tiantai,because those days i will be busy no matter the holiday is coming---
but i hope you will enjoy yourselves,and establish the foundation for next meetiong---

Yesterday, I went to a newly-opened coffee bar named FRANK COFFEE in Tiantai. It seems to be a good place for us to have a get-together.

And I also talked about this with the Manager there, who later expressed his much interest in this issue.

I will carry out a plan soon later for you to discuss here, and then after gathering your opinions. I will discuss with the Manager.

A simple plan for our English corner in Tiantai:

TARGET: 1, The best place to speak English in Taizhou.
            2, The best place to enlarge your social circle through communication in English in Taizhou.

VALUES:  Courage, Simplicity, Teamwork, Open, Innovation, Passion.

Mission: Let's make it easy to speak English!

Time:  Every Saturday night from 7:30 to 11:00
Place: Franck Coffee Bar
Form: Free Talk, Speech, etc.
Cost: 15yuan/person,  including a bottle of tea and a small plate of fruits.

Promotion:
1,  Hope the visitors in this forum can actively take part in this party.
2, The Frank Coffee Bar posts advertisements for the opening of the English Corner.  The coffee bar should be proud of itself because we are there.  We make the bar special!
3, Tell your friends who want to learn English, speak Engish and enjoy the happiness of  english communication to join us.

The first English Corner time will be on Jan. 10, 2004.

It is always difficult to begin with something, let's do it!

Could you manage to get some sponsors, who can offer material or finacial support?

That is the form when we organise a party in university.

Both the organiser and the sponsor would benfit fromi it.
